Kiwanis of Lafayette thanks Judge Marilyn Castle, District Judge for the 15^th Judicial District Court for the Parishes of Lafayette, Acadia, and Vermilion, for speaking to us today.

Judge Castle has served as a judge in the 15^th Judicial District Court for more than seventeen years and has garnered a reputation for fairness and efficiency during her tenure.

Judge Castle spoke about the challenges facing the judicial system as well as her philosophy behind the bench.  Judge Castle is also a candidate for the Louisiana Supreme Court seat vacated by Associate Justice Jeannette Theriot Knoll.  The election is scheduled along with the national presidential election in November.
